80 Years of Innovation

Since our humble beginnings in 1945, we have strived to be innovative to meet customers' needs for good and efficient pumps and water solutions.

We are proud of our history and tell it through three museums in Bjerringbro, where Grundfos has its roots.

Grundfos Museum: The Factory

The museum, covering 1,600 m², tells about the great importance of production technology for Grundfos' success over 80 years. The exhibition depicts, among other things, Grundfos' work with new materials and innovative machines and tools, such as the legendary machining center called "the carousel." The exhibition is set up in our first factory, close to the founder's private residence.

Grundfos Museum: The History

The museum tells the story of how three generations of the Due Jensen family have created and shaped Grundfos. There is also a focus on the development of products from "Grisen" - Grundfos' very first pump in 1945 - to modern intelligent and energy-saving pump solutions. The museum also features a reconstruction of an early Grundfos workshop from the 1940s.

Grundfos Museum: The Founder’s Home

The home of the founders Poul and Inger Due Jensen is reconstructed as it appeared in 1963. The museum testifies to the unique connection between the company and the family home, which is the foundation of the Grundfos culture and its values.
