Grundfos in brief
Grundfos is a global leader within the pump industry, delivering energy-efficient water solutions for use in homes, buildings, industries, utilities and agriculture. Having a purpose of pioneering solutions to the world’s water and climate challenges and improving the quality of life for people, Grundfos is leading the way for a more sustainable tomorrow.
With around 20,000 employees, an annual production of more than 15 million pump units, and an approximate annual revenue of €4.5bn, Grundfos is one of the world’s largest pump manufacturers. The Grundfos Group, established in Bjerringbro, Denmark in 1945, is represented by more than 100 companies in more than 60 countries with a wider network of local distributors.
Grundfos is 87.5% owned by Grundfos Foundation (Poul Due Jensen Foundation). Grundfos employees own 2.9%, and the remaining 9.6 % belong to the Founder’s descendants. Poul Due Jensen, grandson of the founder, has been Grundfos’ CEO since 2020.
